It seemed like just yesterday that we were celebrating Grandaddy's 90th Birthday, but an entire year has now passed and we celebrated his 91st this past weekend!
We didn't get to Kentucky until Saturday afternoon, but when we got there, the kids of course had already assumed their natural positions for the summer:
While the adults got into an intense game of cornhole
This little man decided that he had enough of pool time, and it was time to go inside and try to sneak a cookie. He thought he was HILARIOUS!
Needless to say, we also had plenty of yummy food, but I was too busy enjoying it and didn't get any pictures of the evidence. After dinner we spent time together as a family, and just enjoyed each others' company.
The celebration continued on into Sunday afternoon, and once again we had lots of wonderful food and lots of fun family time. Our dessert on Sunday was a homemade peach cobbler and watermelon, so we had to get creative with Grandaddy's candles!
We had yet another wonderful weekend with the family, and we are so blessed to have another wonderful year with our sweet Grandaddy. We are so blessed!
