The first night we were down there, we headed to a little joint called Dusty's Oyster Bar. It was nothing special or nice, but it was a fun environment, with great food!
The majority of the rest of the trip was spent doing as little as possible, and going back and forth between the beach and the pool. The seaweed was terrible again this year, so it is definitely nice to also have the option of a pool to cool off in!
Despite the downer of seaweed, we had some pretty fabulous weather. Almost every afternoon, a storm rolled through, bringing in just a touch of cooler weather and a perfect breeze!
We also got to see some pretty awesome sunsets from our balcony!
We tried to take advantage of such a beautiful background, and snapped a 12 week belly shot of my expanding tummy.
In addition to the sunbathing and sunsets, we also enjoyed some pretty yummy food. We visited one of our favorites, Firefly. This delightful little jewel is actually located in a shopping center, but don't let that fool you! They have the BEST she-crab soup I've ever had in my entire life. I seriously was dreaming about this soup for days before we ate there!

| And as we walked out, we saw this. They apparently donated a large sum to Nick Saban's charity, Nick's Kids. Again, as if we didn't love this place enough, this was the icing on the cake. |
And of course we had to stop at the Peach Park in Clanton on the way home for a sweet treat! We got some yummy ice cream, and some fresh produce as well. Can't beat it!
