Sweetest Friends

What a lucky girl I am, to have so many precious friends to share this time in our lives together. Recently, two of my closest friends were in town during the same week, and we thankfully had some opportunities to hang out and let our little ones play as well. During the week, my friend Laura, and her precious Ellis were here from Shreveport. We met at work, but our relationship is truly much deeper than a "work friend" relationship. She is so precious to me, and I was so sad when she and her family packed up to move to Louisiana!

Kelly was kind enough to have us over, along with our dear friend Emily, plus all of our littles, for a fun little dinner. I'm pretty sure a single one of us actually got to sit and enjoy our entire meal without getting up 484938 times to keep our toddlers out of trouble, but such is life. We know these moments are fleeting, and we were just enjoying being with one another and watching our little loves play.

Sweet Emerson was the "momma" of the group. She is a big 3 year old, and was so sweet to the younger babies!

And this is her baby brother Jones. He and Will are 11 days apart.

And then Laura's sweet Ellis. He is so happy, all the time!

All of these sweet peas will be promoted to Big Brother and Big Sister status this spring! So exciting!

Our five- lots of snacks were handed out and lots of silly faces were going on behind the camera to try to capture all of them at the same time. It was quite a challenge!

The next day, my friend Jessica and her two kids came to Birmingham for the weekend. I hadn't seen them since this summer, and it was so nice to hang out! We lucked out with some pretty weather (and thankfully not too cold), and just let the kids run wild on the play ground.

Mean mommies that we are, we made Will and Mac share a swing. They liked it...for like 2 seconds.

Sweet Mac wanted to try on the shades too. Will had taken them off and put them in my purse, but of course as soon as he saw Mac wearing them, we went into full toddler "mine" mode.

One of our (failed) attempts at a group shot.

We love our Aunt Jess so much!

And the boys loved each other two, despite the sunglasses disagreement.

Love this girl and her kiddos so much!

I am so thankful that I am surrounded by so many true friends. My heart was certainly full after that week full of laughter, friendship, and precious babes!
