It appears that we now have two creepers in the house: Sagey and Will. They love to stare- at each other. And us.
Call us crazy, but we haven't gotten brave enough to let Sage around Will too much yet. We'll go outside with Will, and we've taken the two on a walk together, but it just makes us nervous to let her get too close to him. Don't get me wrong- despite her crazy antics, Sage is a very sweet and loving dog. We've never seen her get irritated or snippy with anyone. The most she does is bark at the yard men, and the occasional rabbit.
BUT, I also work at a children's hospital and have seen my share of scary things happen involving dogs and small children. So, we're going to give this relationship a few years to transpire before we let Sage get too close to Mr. Will without us both being around.
But, we have a feeling that once he's a few years older, Will and Sagey are going to have a wonderful friendship. They already have several things in common:
1- They are obsessed with their daddy.
2- They are both blonde.
3- They can both get a little crazy sometimes.
4- But they are both very sweet.
5- And they both like to eat. A lot.
What else could you possible need for the foundation of a wonderful friendship?
Cute post. We actually had a 2 year old in our town die a few Christmas' ago from her dock biting her. Got her neck/ carotid artery. Just scary when kids are so little and young because they don't know not to play with the dogs toys and etc. Better to be safe than sorry.
