Our sweet little friend Harrison celebrated his SECOND birthday nearly a month ago. (Side note, Mrs. Smith...please tell me how this is possible. Didn't we JUST have your baby shower??)
Harrison's mommy and daddy chose to have the party at the cutest little location ever, at a petting zoo in a local state park. The weather was absolutely perfect that day.
Will and his girlfriend, Mary Miller, loved playing in the jumpy thing.
And so did birthday boy Harrison, that you can see in the background. I never got a good picture of him playing, as he was moving around faster than lightening in this contraption.
All of the details of the party were so cute! I thought Christina did a great job on everything.
After the birthday cake, we all headed outside to let the kids feed the animals. This was a HUGE hit. With both the children and the animals alike.
Some children missed the memo that the animals eat corn...not plastic images of themselves that may or may not have been picked up off the drink table. Christina, if you've been wondering where those animals went, my apologies. He is still carrying that "orsey" (horsey) around like it's the only toy he's ever owned.
Miss Hollywood, princess-in-training, Mary Miller
A few weeks before this party, he learned that sheep say "baa," and after we left the party, that's all we heard for a while, "baa! baa! baa!"
One of my college roommates and sweet Layton, who is a month older than Will.
Here we are last year at Harrison's party- the 13th street college roomies. Look at all those newborns! Harrison was (obviously) 1, Layton was 3 1/2 months, Will was 2 1/2 months, and Mary Miller was 2 months.
Our attempt at getting a picture with "boyfriend and girlfriend" wasn't very successful. Oh well....they've got like 20 more years to get that down pat. :)
My dear friend/college roomie Bethany and one of her two beauties.
We will most certainly be going back to that petting zoo, as Will loved looking at all the animals, and shouting "baa!" to every creature he saw that day. It was great!
Happy Birthday Harrison!
